The “Hearthwood” Pod
The “Hearthwood” Pod features a distinctive curved profile inspired by our Hobbit Pod, reimagined with a clean, square side entrance that adds structure and visual balance. The elongated half-moon form creates a low, organic silhouette that sits naturally within woodland and rural settings, while the side-positioned entrance offers a sheltered, private arrival point.
Finished in durable black bitumen shingles with contrasting natural timber detailing around the entrance, the exterior is built for year-round use and long-term durability. The combination of soft curves and crisp architectural lines gives The “Hearthwood” Pod a characterful yet practical presence, familiar, refined, and immediately inviting.
5 Person Glamping Pod with Disabled Access
As you step inside, you’re welcomed into a warm, pine-lined interior where gently curved walls and ceilings create an immediate sense of comfort and flow. The open-plan layout feels bright and easy to move through, with smooth flooring and generous circulation space designed to support accessible use throughout the pod. Soft integrated lighting highlights the natural timber finish, creating a calm, cabin-like atmosphere from the moment you enter.
Central Counter & Dining Area
Positioned directly ahead of the entrance, a central counter forms the heart of the pod. This area features a generous work surface with integrated storage cabinets beneath, providing practical space for food preparation, dining, or everyday use. The open counter layout keeps the space social and accessible, allowing guests to gather comfortably without interrupting circulation through the pod.
Accessible Sleeping Area
To one end of the pod sits the dedicated accessible sleeping area, featuring a single bed with clear surrounding floor space for easy access and movement. This area is thoughtfully positioned to remain connected to the central living space while still offering a comfortable and practical sleeping arrangement for all users.
Bunk & Flexible Sleeping Zones
At the opposite end of the pod, a built-in bunk bed sleeping area provides accommodation for up to four guests. Featuring double bunk beds, this space is designed to maximise sleeping capacity while maintaining a comfortable, open feel. Integrated neatly into the curved structure, the bunk layout keeps the interior efficient and uncluttered without the need for additional partitions, making it ideal for group or family stays.
Designed for Inclusive Group Stays
With a combination of accessible sleeping, bunk accommodation, and a central shared living area, this layout comfortably accommodates up to five guests. The design balances inclusivity, practicality, and warmth, making it well-suited to accessible glamping stays, family groups, or outdoor hospitality settings that prioritise comfort without complexity.
Alternative Layout Option
The “Hearthwood” Pod - 6 Person Glamping Pod
This alternative layout follows the same internal arrangement as the 5 Person Hearthwood Pod with disabled access, with one key difference. In place of the single accessible bed, this version features a bunk bed in that space, increasing sleeping capacity to accommodate up to six guests. The rest of the layout remains unchanged, making this option ideal for families or groups who require additional sleeping space rather than accessible accommodation.
