    Education Case Study

Frensham Heights – Bespoke Library Pod

Drone video flying over Frensham Heights School, moving towards the custom GlampLaunch library pod in the courtyard.

"A unique learning space with more to come"

Frensham Heights, a leading independent school in Surrey, partnered with GlampLaunch to create a bespoke library pod – a quiet, inspiring retreat that extends learning beyond the classroom. The project has been such a success that the school is already planning additional pods in 2026 to serve other areas of campus life.

This case study shows how modular design can deliver more than accommodation: it can shape spaces that enrich education, spark imagination, and become a showcase feature for schools.

Nick Tooley, Head Teacher, Frensham Heights Primary School

"Working with GlampLaunch was a really positive experience across the whole team. We now have a bespoke product that we love — and it was far more cost-effective and achievable than the other options we explored."

    Hospitality Case Study

The Crown at Pantygelli – 3 Luxury Glamping Pods

From empty land to thriving stays & new revenue streams

When Nick and his wife Amy took over The Crown at Pantygelli, the hillside behind the pub was little more than overgrown land. Fast forward to today, and three bespoke glamping pods now overlook the Sugar Loaf Mountain, generating both accommodation revenue and additional restaurant turnover.

In just five months, the pods have achieved around 75% occupancy, with guests describing them as “cozy and peaceful.” Every booking also drives footfall into the restaurant through dining vouchers, creating a powerful symbiotic model. The success has already fuelled the launch of weddings at The Crown – proving how glamping pods can unlock entirely new income streams for hospitality businesses.

Nick Norvill, Owner, The Crown at Pantygelli —

“The pods have completely transformed our business. They’re consistently booked, guests love them, and they’ve helped us expand into weddings while boosting the pub at the same time.”

    Wellness Case Study

Aurora Luxury Sauna Pod – Scotland

Front view of the Aurora luxury outdoor sauna pod with full glass window and changing room, set on a wooden deck in winter.

A handcrafted sauna pod that sparked repeat interest and referrals

In East Dunbartonshire, Scotland, Tom chose the Aurora Luxury Sauna Pod to create a private spa retreat in his garden. Handcrafted with Norwegian spruce, full-length glass, and a built-in changing room, the Aurora delivers a striking blend of modern design and Nordic warmth.

Since installation, Tom has been so pleased with the sauna that he’s returned to us as his first point of contact for other outdoor living ideas. He has also passed our details on to others interested in their own sauna pods – showing how satisfied clients naturally become advocates for GlampLaunch.

This project highlights how our pods go beyond accommodation and office use, extending into wellness and lifestyle solutions that transform everyday living.

    Residential Case Study

The “Twilight” Pod – Bespoke Garden Office

A flexible garden pod that became more than an office

Our very first pod project was for Jacqui in Surrey, who wanted a garden office that could also double as a guest space. She chose the Twilight Pod, a sleek and contemporary design, delivered in modular components and assembled easily on-site by her joiner.

What started as a workspace quickly became a multi-use pod – not only a home office, but also a cosy spare bedroom for her son returning from university. Jacqui described it as “warm, spacious, and exactly what we wanted.”

A year later, Jacqui got back in touch with exciting news: she and her family are relocating to Wales in 2026 to start their own glamping site – and they’ve already told us they’ll be coming back to GlampLaunch for their new pods (more on this to come).

This project shows that whether it’s for work, leisure, or future business ventures, GlampLaunch pods grow with your vision.

    What Clients Ask Us

    1. What types of projects has GlampLaunch delivered?

GlampLaunch has worked on a wide range of projects — from hospitality businesses like The Crown at Pantygelli, to schools like Frensham Heights, and even residential clients who wanted bespoke garden offices and outdoor wellness pods. Each case study shows how flexible and versatile pods can be across sectors.

    2. How do glamping pods impact hospitality businesses?

Our success story with The Crown at Pantygelli shows the potential clearly: within just a few months of installing three glamping pods, they achieved around 75% occupancy and boosted restaurant bookings through cross-promotion. Glamping pods don’t just add rooms — they unlock new income streams like dining and weddings.

    3. Can pods really add value to schools or educational settings?

Yes. Frensham Heights invested in a bespoke library pod to create a quiet, inspiring space for students. The project was so successful that they’re already planning additional pods to serve other parts of school life. Educational pods provide schools with flexible, cost-effective ways to expand learning environments.

    4. Are pods suitable for residential use?

Absolutely. Our very first client, Jacqui in Surrey, wanted a garden office but also used her pod as a spare bedroom for her son returning from university. She described it as “warm, spacious, and exactly what we wanted.” Pods can double as workspaces, guest rooms, or leisure retreats — making them ideal for private gardens.

    5. How do I know I can trust GlampLaunch if the company is relatively new?

While GlampLaunch is a new name, our foundations are proven. We work with a supplier that has delivered 10,000+ pods across Europe with perfect product feedback, and our own track record is just as strong. Every pod and previous product we’ve supplied has received 100% positive client feedback.

Before rebranding, we operated as Home Living Luxury, where we built up dozens of independent 5-star reviews on Trustpilot. The products were different, but the feedback reflects what really matters — our integrity, service, and Taylor’s personal commitment to every client.

You can read our Trustpilot reviews here.

    6. What makes GlampLaunch different from other pod suppliers?

Clients consistently highlight our personal, founder-led service and bespoke design approach. Unlike many suppliers who offer fixed models, we work closely with you to customise pods to your site and vision. From planning advice to delivery, you’re not just buying a pod — you’re partnering with us to make your project succeed.

    7. Can I see more details about each case study?

Yes. Each project featured on this page links to a full case study blog, where you can see images, videos, and deeper stories from the clients themselves. These blogs also show behind-the-scenes details — from planning challenges to client feedback — so you can get a transparent view of the journey.
