    The “Hearthwood” Pod

The “Hearthwood” Pod features a distinctive curved profile inspired by our Hobbit Pod, reimagined with a clean, square side entrance that adds structure and visual balance. The elongated half-moon form creates a low, organic silhouette that sits naturally within woodland and rural settings, while the side-positioned entrance offers a sheltered, private arrival point.

Finished in durable black bitumen shingles with contrasting natural timber detailing around the entrance, the exterior is built for year-round use and long-term durability. The combination of soft curves and crisp architectural lines gives The “Hearthwood” Pod a characterful yet practical presence, familiar, refined, and immediately inviting.

    Luxury 2-4 Person Glamping Pod

Designed as a warm and flexible retreat, the “Hearthwood” Pod features a thoughtfully arranged interior that feels both open and cocooning. Gently curved walls and ceilings wrap the space in natural pinewood, creating a calm, cabin-like atmosphere that encourages guests to slow down and unwind.

The layout is intentionally adaptable, allowing the open living space to be configured to suit different occupancy needs, including the option to accommodate additional beds when required.

    Open-Plan Living & Kitchen Area

Entering through the side door, guests arrive in a bright, open-plan living space where the kitchen and main living area flow together effortlessly. The curved structure enhances the sense of openness while maintaining a cosy, enclosed feel.

The kitchen runs neatly along one side, offering integrated storage, worktop space, and essential appliances without overwhelming the room. The open living area opposite can be used as a lounge, dining space, or fitted with beds to comfortably accommodate up to four guests, making the pod highly versatile for different stay types.

    Bathroom

Positioned discreetly off the main living area, the bathroom is compact yet carefully designed. It includes a modern shower enclosure, toilet, and washbasin, finished in clean, neutral tones that complement the timber interior. Efficient ventilation and thoughtful detailing ensure comfort and practicality for year-round use.

    Crafted for Comfort

Fully insulated and well ventilated, the “Hearthwood” Pod is designed to perform beautifully in every season. The combination of natural materials, soft lighting, and a flexible layout creates an interior that feels warm, practical, and quietly refined, ideal for couples, small families, or adaptable guest accommodation.

    Pod FAQs

What is the lead time on the pods?

For single pod projects, from order confirmation to arrival on site, typically ranges from 4 to 6 weeks.

For multi-pod projects, which often require more customisation and coordination, the timeline extends to approximately 6 to 10 weeks.

What foundation is required for the pods?

    Recommended Base Types

We recommend setting your pod on concrete, tarmac. A level and secure base prevent issues like water ingress, pest intrusion, and aesthetic wear over time.

Why is a Solid Base Important?

A solid foundation is essential to ensure the longevity and stability of your pod. Setting the pod on an uneven or unstable base can cause structural issues, including door and window misalignments, gaps, and a decrease in insulation and water resistance.

    Is electricity required?

Electrical needs vary depending on the pod’s intended use. For simple setups, a 20 Amp supply may suffice, while pods with more equipment may require up to 32 Amps. Consult with our team for specific guidance tailored to your pod’s setup.

    Is plumbing required?

Plumbing isn’t necessary for all pods but can be added based on your preferences. If plumbing is needed, we collaborate to pre-plan access points for sinks, showers, or toilets. Our process ensures a smooth installation by preparing all cut-outs and access areas before delivery.
