The “Hearthwood” Pod

The “Hearthwood” Pod features a distinctive curved profile inspired by our Hobbit Pod, reimagined with a clean, square side entrance that adds structure and visual balance. The elongated half-moon form creates a low, organic silhouette that sits naturally within woodland and rural settings, while the side-positioned entrance offers a sheltered, private arrival point.

Finished in durable black bitumen shingles with contrasting natural timber detailing around the entrance, the exterior is built for year-round use and long-term durability. The combination of soft curves and crisp architectural lines gives The “Hearthwood” Pod a characterful yet practical presence, familiar, refined, and immediately inviting.

Luxury 6 Person Glamping Pod

Stepping inside the pod, you’re welcomed into a warm, pine-lined interior where gently curved walls and ceilings create an immediate sense of comfort and enclosure. Soft integrated lighting and natural timber finishes give the space a calm, cabin-like atmosphere while keeping the layout bright and practical.

Central Kitchenette & Dining Area

Directly ahead of the entrance sits the central kitchenette, acting as the heart of the pod. It features a compact worktop, sink, and built-in storage, ideal for preparing simple meals and refreshments. Adjacent to the kitchenette is the dining area, positioned to remain social and accessible while still clearly defined within the open layout.

Right-Side Bunk Area with Sliding Divider

To the right of the entrance, the dining space flows into a bunk-bed sleeping area. Rather than a fully enclosed bedroom, this area is separated by a sliding divider, allowing the space to be opened up during the day or closed off for added privacy at night. This design keeps the pod feeling open while offering flexible sleeping arrangements.

Left-Side Sleeping Rooms

On the left-hand side of the entrance, two dedicated sleeping rooms provide quieter, more private accommodation. One room features a bunk bed, ideal for children or additional guests, while the second room includes a comfortable double bed, creating a restful retreat within the pod. Both rooms continue the natural pine finish, maintaining a cohesive, warm interior throughout.

Designed for Group Stays

With three distinct sleeping areas, a central kitchenette, and a practical dining space, this interior is designed specifically for group and family stays. The layout balances privacy and shared living, making it ideal for glamping sites, staff accommodation, or multi-guest outdoor lodging, without wasting space or overcomplicating the design.

Alternative Layout Option

The “Hearthwood” Pod - Luxury 2-4 Person Glamping Pod

This alternative Hearthwood layout offers a more open, simplified internal arrangement compared to the Luxury 6 Person Glamping Pod. Instead of multiple dedicated sleeping rooms, the space is designed to feel lighter and more flexible with fewer internal partitions.

This makes it ideal for couples or small families who prefer a more open-plan feel, while still retaining the same warm timber finishes, curved architecture, and practical layout that define the Hearthwood range.

Pod FAQs

What is the lead time on the pods?

For single pod projects, from order confirmation to arrival on site, typically ranges from 4 to 6 weeks.

For multi-pod projects, which often require more customisation and coordination, the timeline extends to approximately 6 to 10 weeks.

What foundation is required for the pods?

Recommended Base Types

We recommend setting your pod on concrete, tarmac. A level and secure base prevent issues like water ingress, pest intrusion, and aesthetic wear over time.

Why is a Solid Base Important?

A solid foundation is essential to ensure the longevity and stability of your pod. Setting the pod on an uneven or unstable base can cause structural issues, including door and window misalignments, gaps, and a decrease in insulation and water resistance.

Is electricity required?

Electrical needs vary depending on the pod’s intended use. For simple setups, a 20 Amp supply may suffice, while pods with more equipment may require up to 32 Amps. Consult with our team for specific guidance tailored to your pod’s setup.

Is plumbing required?

Plumbing isn’t necessary for all pods but can be added based on your preferences. If plumbing is needed, we collaborate to pre-plan access points for sinks, showers, or toilets. Our process ensures a smooth installation by preparing all cut-outs and access areas before delivery.
